Season Possibly Over for Tim Buckland Friday, August 15th , 2025 The doctors have spoken and Tim Buckland of the Lincoln Princes didn't like what he heard. The 18-year-old closer is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Buckland sustained his season-ending injury during the Abingdon Archers game yesterday at Chupacabras Stadium. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Lincoln medical staff reported Buckland had a stretched elbow ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 11 months. For the year, Buckland has 2 saves in 44 relief appearances with a 0-4 mark and 8.44 ERA. |
