McFarland Extends Hit Streak to 49 Games Tuesday, August 5th , 2025 Bobby McFarland of the Jacksonville Nationals extended his hitting streak to 49 straight games with 3 hits in today's 14-3 triumph over the Crystal Lake Killers at Killer Stadium. "Bobby has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Nationals manager Zack Glomski joked after the game. Bobby McFarland hit an RBI single in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Tomohito Tomoshino in the 8th. McFarland on the season is batting .522 with 24 home runs. His totals include 81 RBIs and 68 runs scored. He has played in 49 games. |
