Hit Streak Now at 20 for Grossman Tuesday, August 5th , 2025 Travis Grossman's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Moncton. The 19-year-old center fielder extended it once again, this time bringing it to 20 games with a 4-for-5 performance against the Saint Pierre and Miquelon Pirates. The Mounties won the game, 24-2. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Travis Grossman walked in the 1st, was hit by a pitch in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 4th, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th, walked in the 8th and flied out in the 9th. Grossman's current batting average stands at .353 and he has chalked up 10 home runs and 89 RBIs. |
