No Late-Season Magic Coming: Moncton Out of Playoffs Friday, September 1st , 2023 The hopes of lifting a championship trophy in Moncton this year have now vanished. The Moncton Mounties have been eliminated from postseason contention. "I'm not happy but I'm trying to come to terms with it," starting pitcher Mike Martinez said. Moncton last appeared in the postseason in 2018. This is their 5th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 10 times in their 13-year history. |
