Walker 5-for-6 for Terra Linda Thursday, July 31st , 2025 Terra Linda left fielder Cody Walker had a big day at Ballpark of Plantersville against the Abingdon Archers. The 19-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-6 and led to the 10-9 Chargers triumph over Abingdon. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Walker said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Cody Walker flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
