Criscuolo Hits for the Cycle
Thursday, July 31st , 2025
Jake Criscuolo accomplished one of the rarer feats in baseball when he hit for the cycle against the Saint Pierre and Miquelon Pirates in the 14-3 Whitby Bats win at Eláguila Stadia.
Afterward, Criscuolo acknowledged that his accomplishment was special, but said he was more interested in helping the Bats win.
"Maybe one day I'll look back on this with more meaning, but right now I just want to go out tomorrow and put some good swings on the ball and help my club win another game," Criscuolo said.
On his historic day, he went 5-for-6 with 3 RBI and 4 runs scored -- and also got a spot in the history books.
Jake Criscuolo doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Omar Garza in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, struck out in the 6th and tripled in the 8th.
For the year, Criscuolo has hit at a .491 clip with 52 RBIs, 19 home runs and 60 runs scored.
