Koerner Ups Hit Streak to 25 Consecutive Games Thursday, July 31st , 2025 Nobody has been able to shut down Ft. Wayne Earthquakes catcher Curt Koerner in recent days. The San Bernardino Flight fared no better than the rest. Today at Earthquakes Stadium, Koerner picked up 4 hits in 5 at-bats en route to a win, 9-2. It stretched his hitting string to 25 consecutive games. Curt Koerner hit a two-run home run off Bill Castro in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th and singled in the 7th. Koerner is hitting at a .486 mark this season. His stats show 62 home runs, 150 RBIs and 141 runs scored. He has played 82 games for the Earthquakes. |
