McFarland Has 42-Game Hitting Streak Monday, July 28th , 2025 In today's 3-2 win over the Chuluota Imperials at Imperials Ballpark, Bobby McFarland of the Jacksonville Nationals ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 42 games with 1 hit in 3 at-bats. "Don't question it, just let it keep happening," McFarland said in his postgame press conference, seemingly as much to himself as to nearby reporters. Bobby McFarland singled in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, flied out in the 5th and flied out in the 7th. Currently McFarland is batting .508 with 20 home runs, 67 RBIs and 54 runs scored. |
