SC Awards Player of the Week Trophy Monday, September 7th , 2026 Not every ball that came off Chris Norwood's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Juneau Sled Dogs. For his exploits, Norwood was named this week's Southern Conference Player of the Week award. The Juneau center fielder put up 10 hits in 19 at-bats and 5 home runs while hitting .526 with 18 RBIs and 7 runs scored. In 126 games this season, Norwood has batted at a .428 pace with 216 hits and 45 home runs. |
