25 Games in a Row for Rodda
Friday, September 4th , 2026
Chalk up another one for Jacksonville Nationals third baseman Tim Rodda. He now has hit in 25 straight games. Rodda went 2-for-5 in today's game at Wolverines Ballpark but saw his club defeated, 8-7, by the host Riverside Wolverines.
"Playing on the road always makes it harder to get hits and to get wins," Nationals manager Zack Glomski said after the game. "We got one of the two, but unfortunately it was the wrong one." Tim Rodda walked in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Tony Hernandez in the 7th, flied out in the 9th and struck out in the 11th.
A look at his current stats shows Rodda with a .409 average, 11 home runs, 33 RBIs and 66 runs scored. He has played in 53 games.
