Fleming Has 37-Game Hitting Streak Wednesday, September 2nd , 2026 The number just keeps getting higher. Juneau second baseman Greg Fleming has now extended his hitting string to 37 games. He did it today with 2 hits in 4 at-bats as the Juneau won the game, 10-7, over the San Antonio Griffins at Sled Dogs Ballpark. "Who knows how long it will go on?" San Antonio manager James Beatty said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Greg Fleming grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and walked in the 8th. Fleming is batting .436 this year with 32 home runs, 135 RBIs and 142 runs scored. He has 206 hits in 473 at-bats. |
