NC Best Hitter Award to Whitby's Avery Williams Tuesday, September 1st , 2026 Avery Williams put together a good August to earn the Northern Conference Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Whitby officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Bats left fielder posted a .532 batting average with 20 home runs, 45 RBIs and 38 runs scored. In 64 games this season, Williams has compiled a .458 batting average with 119 hits and 39 home runs. He has also scored 80 times and knocked in 100 runs. |
