McFarland Keeps Hit Streak Alive Monday, August 31st , 2026 Nationals second baseman Bobby McFarland has extended his hitting streak to 20 games. He went 2-for-3 in today's game against the Sunrise Manor Sunchasers. Jacksonville won the ballgame, 3-2. "Got a hit and a win," he said later. "OK, I'll take it." Bobby McFarland flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, walked in the 5th and hit an RBI single in the 7th. McFarland is currently hitting .493 with 29 home runsand 99 RBIs, while scoring 80 runs. |
