Fleming Ups Hit Streak to 33 Consecutive Games Friday, August 28th , 2026 Greg Fleming, second baseman for the Juneau Sled Dogs, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 33 games with 2 hits in his club's 10-6 victory over the Buckeye Local Panthers at Sled Dogs Ballpark. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends." Greg Fleming flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and flied out in the 8th. At the moment, Fleming is hitting .439 with 32 home runs and 133 RBIs. He has played in 117 games and scored 141 times. |
