Jacksonville Off to the Playoffs Friday, August 28th , 2026 The Jacksonville Nationals said they relish the role of underdogs. The Nationals have captured a Southern Conference wild card position and will be looking to make some noise in the postseason. "I hope teams take us lightly because we didn't win the division -- but I think they know that would be a mistake," said second baseman Matt Higgins. "If teams think we're a pushover, we've got a surprise for them." When the playoffs begin, Jacksonville will be looking for its 6th World Series title. |
