Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Fleming Thursday, August 27th , 2026 And the streak goes on. Greg Fleming collected yet another hit in the 9-6 Juneau Sled Dogs win over the Panthers at Sled Dogs Ballpark. The Juneau second baseman finished 2-for-5 in the game. During an extended batting practice session before the game, the famously hard-working Fleming had fielded questions from reporters about his hitting streak, which now sits at 32 games. "I'm not doing too much special," he said. "I'm well-prepared and I'm just trying to get the bat on the ball and put it in play." Greg Fleming hit an RBI double in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. This season, Fleming has hit at a .439 clip with 130 RBIs, 31 home runs and 139 runs scored. He has played in 116 games. |
