Solis Rocks Raptors for 3 HRs Friday, August 9th , 2024 Riverside Wolverines first baseman Danny Solis had a magnificent game against the Picture Rocks Raptors, rocketing three balls out of Wolverines Ballpark to help the Wolverines win, 12-9. "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes." For the game, Solis went 3-for-5 with 8 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Riverside manager Matt Augustus said later. "Seems like Danny found his home run stroke today."
