Rodriguez Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Thursday, August 13th , 2026 Edwin Rodriguez really sizzled at the plate in his team's 21-12 win over the Lincoln Princes. The Borrego Springs second baseman blistered Lincoln for 5 hits in 7 at-bats. "Rodriguez was too tough to get out today," the Princes skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Edwin Rodriguez singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and struck out in the 8th.
