Norwood Hit Streak Reaches 25 Games Monday, August 10th , 2026 Chris Norwood continued his streak at Sled Dogs Ballpark, even as the ballgame did not go his way. The Juneau center fielder was 1-for-4 in today's contest and now has hit safely in his last 25 games. The Sled Dogs were not as fortunate, losing, 6-5, to the Crystal Lake Killers. "Norwood was hitting everything we threw at him," said Crystal Lake manager Josh Lewis. "He is a tough out. Fortunately, things went our way in the ballgame and we came away with a win." Chris Norwood flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, doubled in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. So far this season, Norwood has gotten 186 hits in 434 at-bats for a .429 batting average with 36 home runs. His stats include 122 RBIs and 138 runs scored. He has played in 108 games. |
