Wayne defeated Sunrise Manor, 8-1, at Field of the Sunchasers, but saw the 21-game hitting streak of Earthquakes catcher Justin Bush snapped -- the Sunchasers held Bush hitless in 4 at-bats. "I enjoyed the streak," he said in a BNN interview after the game. "It's great in one way, but the day-to-day pressure to keep it going can be tough to handle, too. The main thing is we got the win today. That's all that really counts." To date this year, Bush is batting .367 with 16 home runs. |
