Jimenez Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Thursday, July 23rd , 2026 The Borrego Springs Rams stopped the Moncton Mounties, 18-10, and Jesus Jimenez collected a base hit yet again. The Borrego Springs first baseman finished with 1 hit to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20. "I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Jimenez told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games." Jesus Jimenez struck out in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Mario Ortiz in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th and struck out in the 6th. Jimenez currently has a .323 batting average with 31 hits, 13 homers, 38 RBIs, 29 runs scored and a .458 OBP. |
