Buckeye Local Snaps Hardeman Streak at 26 Wednesday, July 22nd , 2026 Juneau left fielder Ryan Hardeman experienced something against the Buckeye Local Panthers he hadn't experienced a while: a hitless game. The Panthers pitching corps quieted his hot bat and snapped his streak at 26 games, but his teammates picked up the slack to lead the Sled Dogs to a 9-8 victory at Cincinnati Grounds. "Hey, ain't nothin' bad about a losing a 26-game hitting streak," Hardeman joked with reporters after the game. "Now you guys will have to find someone else to bother for stories." This season in 83 games, Hardeman has hit at a .380 clip with 124 hits, 22 home runs, 99 RBIs and 85 runs scored. |
