Salgado Wins Award for NC Dominance Monday, October 19th , 2020 At the young age of only 21, John Salgado has been named the Northern Conference Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2020. The future appears bright for the Terra Linda Chargers relief ace, who captured the award with 9 saves in 39 relief appearances, 58 strikeouts in 44.1 innings and a record of 6-1 to go with his 1.83 ERA. He received 24 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Rich Hepler of the Terra Linda Chargers finished second in voting, while Adam Asbury of the Whitby Bats finished third.
