Marr Put in Cooler, Hitless Against Riverside Wednesday, July 15th , 2026 Juneau Sled Dogs second baseman John Marr finally met his Waterloo. A 20-game hitting spree is now history after Marr was unable to make anything happen in 4 at-bats today against the Riverside Wolverines. Fortunately for Marr and the Sled Dogs, the rest of his team had enough in their bats to win the game, 10-8. "We're a true team here," he said. "For 20 games I've been able to contribute, but I always believed these guys would take care of things if I couldn't some day." Marr is hitting .444 so far this season with 50 RBIs and 59 runs scored. He has 104 hits including 8 home runs, 24 walks and .492 OBP. |
