Borrego Springs Snaps Yenores Streak at 25 Wednesday, July 3rd , 2024 The Borrego Springs Rams did something to Jose Yenores no team had done for the last 25 games -- they stopped him, ending his consecutive-game hitting streak. Unfortunately, they couldn't do the same to the Bellflowers, who came away with the 7-3 victory at Club Circle Park. "Hey, I knew it wasn't going to last forever," the 18-year-old center fielder said of the demise of his streak. "It was a good ride while it lasted." So far this season, Yenores has 8 home runs and a .331 batting average. |
