Bret Socks It to Pirates, Cracks 5 Hits Saturday, July 4th , 2026 The Lincoln Princes tripped up the Saint Pierre and Miquelon Pirates, 22-18. The Princes were led by Ray Bret, their 18-year-old first baseman. Bret made life miserable for Saint Pierre and Miquelon pitchers all day, tagging them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. Ray Bret hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Humberto Nevarez in the 6th, walked in the 8th and hit a three-run triple in the 9th.
