Breshears Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Friday, July 3rd , 2026 John Breshears, left fielder for the Juneau Sled Dogs, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 1 hit in his club's 7-5 victory over the Crystal Lake Killers at Killer Stadium. "Not the outcome we wanted," Crystal Lake manager Josh Lewis said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." John Breshears grounded out in the 1st, was hit by a pitch in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and singled in the 9th. So far in 2026 Breshears is batting .456 with 29 home runs, 95 RBIs and 121 runs scored. He has 149 hits in 327 at-bats and a .533 OBP. |
