Melo Put in Cooler, Hitless Against Lincoln Tuesday, June 18th , 2024 Buffalo defeated Lincoln, 6-4, at Wegman's Field, but saw the 28-game hitting streak of Bellflowers third baseman Alex Melo snapped -- the Princes held Melo hitless in 3 at-bats. "I enjoyed the streak," he said in a BNN interview after the game. "It's great in one way, but the day-to-day pressure to keep it going can be tough to handle, too.
