Playoffs? No Chance for Abingdon Wednesday, July 23rd , 2025 Did anyone think the Abingdon Archers had a chance at the postseason this year? It was already quite unlikely, and now even the smallest hopes have been dashed -- the team was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. Abingdon last appeared in the postseason in 2017. This is their 8th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 16 times in their 25-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Archers have missed the playoffs 7 times. |
