36 Games in a Row for McFarland
Monday, July 21st , 2025
The streak is alive and well -- at least for today.
Bobby McFarland did it again, bashing 1 hit in the contest at Ballpark of Haviland. For the last 36 games in a row, the 18-year-old second baseman has collected at least one hit. His efforts helped the Jacksonville Nationals beat the Haviland Thrashers, 7-2.
"I'm happy I kept the streak going," McFarland told a standing-room-only crowd of reporters gathered in the Jacksonville clubhouse. "Honestly though, I'm looking forward to going home and not thinking about this for the rest of the day." Bobby McFarland flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.
For the year, McFarland is hitting .483 with 15 home runs. His stats include 52 RBI and 42 runs scored.
