Hitting Streak Still Alive for McFarland Sunday, July 20th , 2025 Jacksonville second baseman Bobby McFarland keeps on racking up hits every time he plays. His hitting streak now stands at 35 games after collecting 2 hits at Ballpark of Haviland. The Nationals earned the 14-2 victory over the Haviland Thrashers. "I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out," McFarland said. "I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've also been a little lucky." Bobby McFarland flied out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Tony Magallon in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and singled in the 8th. This year, McFarland is batting .493 with 72 hits and 15 home runs. He has scored 42 times and has batted in 52 runs. |
