Hits Galore: Ladnier Drills 5 Hits Sunday, July 20th , 2025 Nate Ladnier was the King of Swing at Centerville Grounds in the 12-7 Long Island Torpedoes win over the Tiverton Colonels. The Long Island third baseman stepped into the batter's box 5 times against Tiverton and delivered 5 hits. It was a sensational game for him. "Unbelievable feeling," he told the press. "It felt good. 5-for-5 isn't bad for your batting average either." Nate Ladnier singled in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 8th.
