Princes Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Saturday, August 12th , 2023 Frank Howerton said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Lincoln Princes after they missed the ABA Rookie League playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. The Princes have missed the playoffs 17 times in their 23 years as a ABA Rookie League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 6th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2017. In the last 10 seasons, the Princes have only made the playoffs once. |
