Hit Streak for Ladnier Reaches 25 Thursday, July 17th , 2025 Nobody has been able to shut down Long Island Torpedoes third baseman Nate Ladnier in recent days. The Terra Linda Chargers fared no better than the rest. Today at Ballpark of Plantersville, Ladnier picked up 3 hits in 6 at-bats en route to a win, 8-5. It stretched his hitting string to 25 consecutive games. Nate Ladnier singled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and flied out in the 9th. This year, Ladnier is batting .469 with 3 home runs. He has scored 30 runs and driven in 20. |
