His hitting streak now stands at 20 games after collecting 2 hits at Imperials Ballpark. The Imperials earned the 14-4 victory over the Crystal Lake Killers. "I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out," Lopez said. "I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've also been a little lucky." Mario Lopez hit a solo-shot off Orlando Mijares in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, walked in a run in the 3rd and grounded out in the 5th. For the season, Lopez has hit .399 with 22 home runs and 73 RBIs. He has played in 86 games and scored 72 times. |
