Killers Railey Raps 3 Homers Monday, July 14th , 2025 Tyler Railey brutalized the San Bernardino Flight pitching staff, launching three home runs in the 7-6 Crystal Lake victory at Killer Stadium. The Crystal Lake Killers first baseman was red-hot, the ball just exploding off his bat all day. "I don't try to hit homers," he said later. "I try to go out there and put a good swing on the ball, and sometimes it is going to go out of the park. I didn't try to hit the first one or the second one or the third one." For the game, he went 5-for-5 with 5 RBIs and 4 runs scored. "Too much Tyler Railey today," Flight manager Nick Neumann said. "That's my assessment of the game. That's what our problems boiled down to." Tyler Railey doubled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Mike Winchester in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Mike Winchester in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Oscar Garcia in the 9th. For the season, Railey is batting .387 with 36 hits and 8 home runs. He has scored 27 times and batted in 30. |
