Stotler Nabs SC Weekly Award Monday, July 14th , 2025 Haviland fans have something to crow about today as Haviland first baseman Gordie Stotler nabbed the Southern Conference Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Stotler. He posted a .562 average (9-for-16) this past week with 5 home runs, 14 RBIs, and 6 runs scored. For the year, Stotler is batting .403 with 94 hits and 42 home runs. He has scored 83 times and driven in 94. |
