Modell Blisters Tiverton Wednesday, August 2nd , 2023 Tom Modell was on fire, sparking his club to a win, 11-6, over the Colonels. The Saint Pierre and Miquelon third baseman was a tough out and went 5-for-5 against Tiverton in a fine hitting display. "I got my pitches and I connected. They all found the right holes on the diamond. Some days you hit shots and they're right at somebody and some days they fall in." Tom Modell singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 3rd, tripled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 8th.
