Jacksonville Blanks Juneau Behind Damm
Saturday, July 5th , 2025
Jacksonville Nationals starter Noah Damm really did a number on the Juneau Sled Dogs, shutting them out, 20-0, on 2 hits in a complete game victory. He issued no walks and had 9 strikeouts.
"We didn't have good at-bats," said Juneau manager Jordan Nolasco. "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Damm."
To date this season, Damm has a record of 2 wins and 2 losses and a 4.65 ERA. He has appeared in 6 games and struck out 32 in 31 innings.
