Bolden Cracks 3 HR for Chargers Saturday, July 22nd , 2023 Fans are still buzzing after Terra Linda whipped the Lincoln Princes by the score of 13-5 at Lincoln Grounds. Mike Bolden smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the center fielder bashed out 3 hits in 5 at-bats, had 5 RBIs and scored 3 times. At the postgame press conference, Bolden said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Bolden said. "Three is just... wow." Mike Bolden hit a two-run home run off Frank Howerton in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Frank Howerton in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, struck out in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Alex Balladares in the 9th. In his season totals, Bolden has 45 home runs, .302 BA, .410 OBP, 82 RBIs and 86 runs scored. He has played in 93 games. |
