Stainbrook Goes 5-for-5 Against San Bernardino Friday, June 27th , 2025 Dan Stainbrook was sizzling at the plate. The Riverside catcher blistered the San Bernardino Flight for 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but couldn't prevent his club from falling to defeat, 13-9. "Stainbrook was too tough to get out today," Flight skipper Nick Neumann said in a postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too. But hey, I don't mind if every game somebody gets 5 hits off us, as long as we win." Dan Stainbrook hit a solo-shot off Ayres Palhao in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, was hit by a pitch in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Oscar Garcia in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
