Whitby Captures Northern Conference West Division Crown Sunday, September 1st , 2019 The Whitby Bats kicked off what they hope is the first of many celebrations tonight, after having clinched the Northern Conference West Division. Championship success is uncharted territory for the Bats, as the club has yet to win a World Series. "We know what it takes, we just have to put ourselves in that position to win it," said left fielder Eric Kukowski. The club's record currently sits at 83-49 and the division win is the 3rd in team history.
