Sausville Smacks 3 Out of the Park Sunday, September 4th , 2022 Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Colonels-Mounties game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball. Tiverton third baseman Jeff Sausville thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Tiverton to a win, 6-4, over Moncton. "Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Sausville said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run." Sausville was 3-for-4 on the day with 6 runs batted in. Jeff Sausville grounded out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Greg Brando in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Willie Bowers in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Willie Bowers in the 7th. Sausville is currently batting .229 with 34 home runs and 74 RBIs. |
