Moore Pops 3 Out of the Park Against Cubs Monday, August 31st , 2020 Moncton Mounties bombardier Tanner Moore set his sights on the stands and blasted three balls over the fence as his club took a 13-1 win over the Franklin Cubs today. "I guess you could say I was a good guesser today, especially on the last one," Moore told writers in the postgame press room. "I was ahead in the count, so I gambled that I'd get a certain pitch, and got all of it." For the game, the Moncton third baseman had 4 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 6, and scored 4 runs. Tanner Moore hit a solo-shot off Ruben Lopez in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 5th and hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 7th.
