Antonio Martinez Injured, Out for Year Wednesday, August 31st , 2022 The season is ending on a bad note for Antonio Martinez, starting pitcher for the Terra Linda Chargers. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Martinez was hurt against the Moncton Mounties while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for at least 10-11 months. Thus far this season, Martinez has posted a 4-4 record, started 20 games, struck out 103 batters in 98.1 innings and compiled a 3.94 ERA. |
