5-Hit Barrage by Guerrero Sunday, June 9th , 2024 Crystal Lake third baseman Max Guerrero had a day to remember, 5-for-6 against the Tulsa Captains at Killer Stadium as the Killers picked up a win, 17-5. "He was patient up there," Crystal Lake skipper Steve Warzecha told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Guerrero has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Max Guerrero singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit a two-run single in the 7th.
