Terra Linda's Conde Suspended 2 Games Monday, August 29th , 2022 Terra Linda's Juan Conde made contact with the home plate umpire during a dispute in the game with the Bellflowers yesterday and he will have to pay for it. Conde violently disagreed when he was called out on strikes. During the intense discussion he bumped chests with the umpire and was immediately tossed out of the game. Today the league commissioner gave him a 2-game suspension. Still steamed by it, Conde told BNN, "I think the ump bumped me and he is the one who should be suspended. I'm going to appeal this sucker." For the year, Conde has hit .305 with 15 home runs, 37 RBIs and scored 43 runs. |
