Red-Hot Skidmore Scorches Cubs Tuesday, June 4th , 2024 The Whitby Bats tripped up the Franklin Cubs, 23-3. The Bats were led by Scott Skidmore, their 20-year-old right fielder. Skidmore made life miserable for Franklin pitchers all day, tagging them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. Scott Skidmore singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, walked in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
