That's exactly what Sean Gorman did at Chupacabras Stadium, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 14-9. "It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Gorman said. "Good things happen, when that happens." The Abingdon Archers right fielder blistered the Saint Pierre and Miquelon Pirates for 4 hits, batted in 5 runs and scored 3 times. "It ain't like we weren't trying," Saint Pierre and Miquelon manager Bryan Crockett said. "He was hot and really torched my boys today." Sean Gorman hit a solo-shot off Willie Lopez in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Aaron Williams in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Aaron Williams in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. So far this year, Gorman has hit .341 with 4 home runs, 13 RBIs and 5 runs scored. |
