League Rules Duenas Out 3 Games Tuesday, August 18th , 2020 A 3-game suspension has been handed out by the league office to Jeff Duenas of the Long Island Torpedoes. Duenas was suspended for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" during a confrontation with the plate umpire during a recent game at Centerville Grounds against the Chargers. He was ejected after arguing a called third strike and had to be restrained by his bench coach. This year Duenas is hitting .225 with 7 home runs and 23 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .289 clip and scored 11 runs. |
